New Amusements For Sea Isle City
Funland of Sea Isle City is under construction and expected to be finished for the 2009 summer season. The amusements in Sea Isle City will be owner and operated by the Gillian family of Ocean City. Gillian’s Funland of Sea Isle City is expected to have about 10 rides and will b located between the 42nd Place waterfront and the bace of the bridge entering Sea Isle city.

Some of the proposed rides include a Ferris wheel, Merry-go-round, Fun Slide, Jump around frogs, and Sky tower among others. Sea Isle City’s Fun City was closed about 10 years ago for the development of the land. Fun City was a 30 year staple for the families coming to Sea Isle.
The Funland amusements are expected to be open by Memorial Day with hours of operation somewhere between 1 and 9 PM.
This is great for the resort town because it will generate jobs, draw families into Sea Isle City and keep some of the vacationing families in town instead of going to other shore communities with the rides.
